Christian Bernert studied religious studies, Tibetology and Buddhism at the University of Vienna. He was a student of Khenchen Sherab for many years and studied Buddhist philosophy at the IBA in Kathmandu from 2001 and worked closely with this institute. He translates directly from Tibetan. His great knowledge of Buddhist philosophy and the Tibetan language, combined with his western roots, predestine him to teach the Dharma in our cultural context.
