THE PRELIMINARY PRACTICES (NGÖNDRO)

The preliminary or ‘foundation’ practices (Ngöndro) of Vajrayana Buddhism are profound and powerful means for effecting a deep purification and transformation, at every level of our being. Not only do they prepare the practitioner for the profound path of Vajrayana, but they also lead him or her gradually towards the experience of enlightenment.

After having received from His Holiness Kyabgön Gongma Trichen Rinpoche and His Holiness the 42nd Kyabgön Gongma Sakya Trizin Rinpoche blessings and teachings on this subject during their visit in Kuttolsheim, we will start to deepen our practice.

Excursion to Mont Sainte-Odile 

Prayers dedicated to Dharma-sisters and -brothers who passed away, to anyone close to you who is ill, suffering or very old, to all sentient beings, followed by a picnic (please bring your own food).
