Mike Bortolotti has been studying and practicing Tibetan Buddhism since 2000. He first discovered Buddhism in Nepal and on his return met Venerable Khenchen Sherab Amipa in Ticino. He received various teachings and transmissions from various Tibetan masters, especially from H.H. the 41st Sakya Trizin, H.H. Kyabgön Gongma Trichen Rinpoche. He completed various basic retreats on the main Vajrayana practices of the Sakya tradition. He holds a BA in Applied Philosophy and an MA in Religious Studies.
