His biography, which shows the intensity of his life’s processes, is a great teaching in itself. The extraordinary events in his life unfolded from suffering to black magic, from regret to harsh purification, from rigorous asceticism to the bliss of realisation. Having reached the pinnacle of the path, he instructs and inspires all beings he encounters with the poetic beauty of his vajra chants, through which he teaches all aspects of the Dharma.

Les trois mises en mouvement de la roue du Dharma
Pour guider ses disciples vers la libération et l’éveil, le Bouddha a donné un large éventail d’enseignements adaptés à leurs besoins et capacités individuels. Ces enseignements ont ensuite été regroupés en trois classes d’enseignements appelés les trois mises en mouvement de la roue du Dharma, chaque mise en mouvement révélant une autre dimension essentielle du chemin. Durant les séminaires des trois années (2022-2024), nous abordons tour à tour chacune de ces classes d’enseignements.
2022 : Les trois tours de la roue du Dharma, 1ère partie : Se libérer du samsara
Dans la première mise en mouvement de la roue du Dharma, le sujet principal de l’enseignement du Bouddha porte sur les Quatre Nobles Vérités. Cet enseignement est le fondement de tout le système de pensée et de pratique bouddhique de toutes les traditions et lignées. Dans ce séminaire, la discussion de ce sujet a été soutenue par une lecture du Soutra de la mise en mouvement de la roue du Dharma et a exploré d’importants aspects connexes des enseignements de l’Abhidharma.
2023 : Les trois mises en mouvement de la roue du Dharma, 2ème partie :L’absence de caractéristiques
Le sujet spécifique de la seconde mise en mouvement de la roue du Dharma est la profonde sagesse de la vacuité. Cela a été longuement exposé dans les soutras de la perfection de la sagesse et plus tard commenté par de nombreux grands maîtres, notamment Ārya Nāgārjuna et les enseignants de l’école Madhyamaka.
Dans ce séminaire nous avons exploré la notion de réalité comme elle est enseignée dans les soutras de la perfection de la sagesse. Notre étude du “Soutra du Cœur” a été basée sur un commentaire du grand maître Sakya, Rongteun Sheja Kunrig, et accompagnée par une introduction à l’école de la Voie du Milieu (Madhyamaka).
2024 : Les trois mises en mouvement de la roue du Dharma, 3ème partie : L’esprit lumineux et les trois natures
Dans la troisième mise en mouvement de la roue du Dharma, le Bouddha a enseigné ce que l’on appelle la signification définitive de ses enseignements. Dans cette classe d’enseignements, le Bouddha a révélé des enseignements extraordinaires sur l’esprit, la nature de Bouddha et des moyens profonds de comprendre la réalité conventionnelle et ultime, complétant ainsi les enseignements antérieurs. L’exploration de ce sujet sera soutenue par des lectures du soutra sur la nature de Bouddha, du soutra de la descente à Lanka et du soutra dévoilant l’intention.
Christian Bernert
D’origine franco-autrichienne, Christian a grandi à Vienne et a vécu environ cinq ans à Katmandou. Sa connexion avec le Buddhadharma a été formellement forgée en 1999 sous la direction de son premier enseignant, le regretté Khenchen Shérab Gyaltsen Amipa Rinpoché. Il a obtenu une maîtrise en études religieuses et en tibétologie de l’Université de Vienne en 2009, suivie d’une formation de traducteur de deux ans à l’Académie bouddhiste internationale (IBA) à Katmandou, où il avait participé à des programmes d’été annuels depuis sa création en 2001. Membre fondateur du Chödung Karmo Translation Group, dont la vision est la traduction d’œuvres importantes de la tradition Sakya, il continue de travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’IBA. Il coordonne actuellement pour le programme IBA The Complete Path avec Sa Sainteté le 42ème Sakya Trizin Ratna Vajra Rinpoché, un cours de sept ans sur la théorie et la pratique de base de la lignée Sakya. En 2021, il rejoint l’équipe de traducteurs internes du Khyentse Vision Project, dont la mission est la traduction des œuvres complètes de Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. Christian a publié des traductions de textes tibétains classiques sur la pensée et la pratique bouddhistes, ainsi que des enseignements de maîtres contemporains. Ses publications incluent Words of a Gentle Sage: Collected Teachings of Khenchen Appey Rinpoche, Vol. 1 (2018), Adorning Maitreya’s Intent: A Commentary on the Madhyāntavibhāga par Rongtön Sheja Kunrik (2017), et divers sūtras pour 84000. Christian vit actuellement à An Hoï, au Vietnam. Pendant son temps libre, il s’occupe d’un autre projet qui lui tient à cœur, le projet Bodhisvara, des enregistrements de textes bouddhistes classiques chantés en sanskrit.

LONG-LIFE RITUAL (TENSHUK) FOR HIS HOLINESS KYABGÖN GONGMA TRICHEN RINPOCHE

To crown the great accumulation of mantras made by all of us in favour of the long life of His Holiness Kyabgön Gongma Trichen Rinpoche on the occasion of his 80th birthday, and to crown the two retreats on White Tara that Khenpo Tashi has also guided for this purpose, Khenpo Tashi and Lama Sherab Sangpo will lead a great long life ritual in Kuttolsheim in relation to White Tara.
This will be an opportunity to dedicate the great accumulation made by all of us for the long life and good health of His Holiness Kyabgön Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, so that he may continue to benefit all beings with the nectar of his teachings and blessings.

Starting in September, a new five-year study programme – the Dharma Chakra Programme – on the main topics of Buddhist philosophy will begin, based on the study curriculum of the great monastic academies.
The teachings will be given by His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trizin Ratna Vajra Rinpoche. The teachings and study materials will be available online in English. In the coming years, we will follow this very important course of study by offering translations of the teachings into Italian, French, German and Dutch.

SAGA DAWA DÜCHEN is one of the four major Buddhist holidays. It celebrates the Enlightenment and Parinirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha. It is one of the most powerful days of the year and coming together to practice and recite the special prayers generates unlimited merits, which we will especially dedicate to universal peace and the benefit of all beings sensitive.
You are all invited to participate so that together we can make our indirect contribution to pacifying the difficulties facing the world. Depending on your availabillity, you may also participate in the evening only.
During his Enlightenment, at the age of thirty-five in Bodhgaya, the Buddha proclaimed:
“Profound peace, natural simplicity, incomparable luminosity, I found Dharma similar to nectar.”
When the Buddha lay dying in a grove in the forest at Kushinagara, surrounded by five hundred of his disciples, he said to them with his last breath:
“It is in the nature of all things that take form to dissolve again. Strive with all your being to achieve perfection.”

„NOTES ON RESTING IN THE NATURE OF MIND” by JAMYANG KHYENTSE WANGCHUK, PART 2 – STUDY AND PRACTICE
Jamyang Khyentse Wangchuk (1524 – 1568) was a disciple of Tsarchen Losal Gyatso (1502 – 1566), whose oral teachings on the source text of Mitrayogin he recorded in his “Notes”. Rather than simply commenting on the meaning of the twenty-five verses, these teachings provide a guide to actually putting their essential message into practice.
Mitrayogin’s deep wish was that beings could free themselves from suffering and relax their minds, which is possible through method and wisdom. It was with this motivation that he composed the twenty-five verses.
On Sunday afternoon, the day of Medicine Buddha, the ritual will be performed.

Her practice is especially effective and helpful during difficult times and when our lives are dominated by intense emotions and fear. Practiced by all four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism, White Tara has been the main deity practice of many well-known Buddhist scholars and siddhas in both India and Tibet. White Tara’s special function is to promote long life, peace, prosperity, and health through her enlightened activities, both for the practitioner and for others.
